This is our live tracker for Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2026 tech deals. It is one page that we will keep updating from now through Cyber Monday, Nov 30, 2026. Until Black Friday week we plan to refresh it at least twice a week, and from Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday we plan to update it daily. Every deal we add has been checked on the retailer’s own page on the date shown. If we have not verified a price, we do not print one.

As of Oct 21, 2026, none of the four big US retailers we track (Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target) has posted its official Black Friday ad or sale schedule. When they do, verified deals will show up here first, newest at the top, each with the date and retailer where we saw it.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2026: key dates

Thanksgiving falls on the fourth Thursday of November, which puts Black Friday on Nov 27 and Cyber Monday on Nov 30 this year. Below are the retailer events we could confirm from an official announcement or a reliable outlet reporting the retailer’s own announcement. If a retailer has not announced its 2026 dates, we say so instead of guessing.

Last checked: Oct 21, 2026. Best Buy’s Sept 14, 2026 holiday preview said only that “savings start in October” without giving Black Friday dates. In 2025, Walmart announced its Black Friday events on Oct 27, so a 2026 announcement could land in the coming days. We will add each date here as soon as the retailer confirms it.

When the best tech deals usually land

The short version: discounts tend to build through November and peak over Cyber Week (Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday). Adobe’s 2026 holiday forecast, published Sept 28, 2026, expects electronics discounts to peak around 30% off list price and computers around 23%, with the best days for both on Cyber Monday. It expects TVs to peak around 23% and names Black Friday as the best day for them. These are category averages, not promises for any single product.

Best tech deal categories to watch

For each category: what to look for, plus well-known products we are watching. We list no prices until we have verified a deal on the retailer’s page.

Laptops

Adobe expects computer discounts to peak on Cyber Monday. The main trap with laptop doorbusters is configuration: a model with a familiar name can ship with less RAM or storage than the version reviewers tested. Compare the full spec line (chip, RAM, SSD, screen) before comparing prices, and check whether a deal is on the current chip generation or last year’s.

TVs

Adobe names Black Friday as the best day for TVs this year. Look closely at big-screen sets (65 inches and up) and mid-range mini-LED models, and check the model year: the LG C5 below is a 2025 model, and LG’s newer C6 series is also listed on Amazon, while the TCL QM8L is the 2026 successor to TCL’s QM8K. Match the exact model number and screen size before you trust a price-history chart or compare prices between stores.

Headphones

Headphones fall under Adobe’s broad electronics category, which it expects to peak on Cyber Monday. Flagship noise-cancelling models are the ones to track. Check the price history over several months, not just the last few weeks, and note that color options are often priced differently.

Smart home

For brand-owned devices (Amazon’s Echo and Ring, Google’s Nest), compare the brand’s own store against Best Buy, Walmart and Target, and check that you are getting the current generation; Amazon also lists newer Echo Dot Max and Ring 2K doorbell models alongside the ones below. Bundles are common, so work out what each piece is worth on its own before calling a bundle a deal. Tablets

For iPads, compare Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and Target against Apple’s own store, and check that the price is for the storage and connectivity (Wi-Fi or cellular) you want. For Fire tablets, check whether the deal includes ads on the lock screen (the “with ads” version) and how much storage you are getting.

Smart glasses

Smart glasses are a young category, so the main question is which generation you are buying. When a new model is out, check whether the older one is being cleared out and whether it still gets the features you want. Frame style, lens type (clear, sun, transitions, prescription) and color all change the price, so compare like for like. Our best smart glasses 2026 guide compares the main options.

Hardware wallets

A hardware wallet is one product where the seller matters more than the price. Buy only from the manufacturer or its official Amazon storefront, never from a third-party seller or marketplace listing, and never buy one that arrives already set up or with a recovery phrase included. Ledger and Trezor have both run Black Friday promotions on their own stores in past years; Ledger’s 2025 offers included bitcoin bonuses on some devices, according to CoinCodex. Neither had announced 2026 Black Friday terms when we checked on Oct 21, 2026. Ledger’s official store is shop.ledger.com.

When we checked on Oct 21, 2026, the two Amazon listings below were sold by “Ledger Official” and “Trezor Company”, the brands’ own Amazon storefronts. Check the “Sold by” line again at checkout, because the seller on a listing can change.

Power banks

Power banks are an easy add-on to a bigger order, and Amazon prices on them can move often, so a price history is worth checking. Compare on watt-hours and real output (for example, whether a pack can fast-charge a laptop over USB-C), not just mAh. How we track and verify deals

Every deal on this page goes through the same checks before we add it:

• Retailer page, checked on a date. We confirm the price on the retailer’s or brand’s own product page and label it with the date and the store, for example “(seen Nov 27, 2026 at Best Buy).” Prices change fast during sales, so treat any price here as a snapshot.
• Price history. We compare the sale price against its history on Keepa or CamelCamelCamel (for Amazon) so we can tell you whether it is a real low or simply a return to a normal price.
• Seller check. We check who is actually selling and shipping the item. Marketplace sellers, especially for hardware wallets, are a red flag.
• No fake “was” prices. We do not repeat inflated list prices. Under the FTC’s Guides Against Deceptive Pricing (16 CFR 233.1), a former-price comparison is legitimate when the former price is the actual, bona fide price the item was offered to the public at on a regular basis for a reasonably substantial period of time. We use the same idea: a discount has to be measured against a price people actually paid.

Price-tracking tips

• Keepa and CamelCamelCamel. Both track Amazon price history and send alerts when a product drops below a target price. Set alerts now on the exact models you want, so you will know whether a Black Friday price really is low.
• Best Buy. Best Buy’s Price Match Guarantee matches qualified competitors on identical, in-stock products and matches its own lower price during the return and exchange period on request. Its policy excludes competitor prices from the Thursday before Thanksgiving through the Monday after Thanksgiving, which covers Black Friday week. The standard return window is 15 days, or 60 days for My Best Buy Plus and Total members.
• Target. Target no longer matches Amazon or Walmart; that change took effect July 28, 2025. Its current price match policy covers its own prices only (Target.com, Target stores, and Target Circle deals), requested at purchase or within 14 days after.
• Walmart. Under its price match policy, Walmart stores will match an identical item’s in-stock Walmart.com price at checkout, with exclusions. Walmart does not price-match on Walmart.com orders, competitor prices, or price drops after you buy.
• Amazon. We could not find an official Amazon US price-match or price-adjustment policy. Check Amazon’s help pages and use price tracking instead.
• Holiday return windows. As of Oct 21, 2026, we had not found official 2026 holiday return extensions from Amazon, Best Buy, Target or Walmart. All four offered extended holiday returns in 2025. Check each retailer’s official return policy page before you buy, and we will add the 2026 terms here when they are posted.

When is Black Friday 2026?

Black Friday 2026 is Friday, Nov 27, the day after Thanksgiving (Thursday, Nov 26). Many retailers start Black Friday pricing earlier in the week or the week before, but none of the big four had announced 2026 start dates as of Oct 21, 2026.

When is Cyber Monday 2026?

Cyber Monday 2026 is Monday, Nov 30. Adobe forecasts it will again be the biggest online shopping day of the season.

Is Black Friday or Cyber Monday better for laptops and TVs?

Adobe’s 2026 forecast names Cyber Monday as the best day for electronics and computers, and Black Friday as the best day for TVs. Individual products can break from the average, so set price alerts and compare against price history.

When do Amazon Black Friday deals start?

Amazon had not announced its 2026 Black Friday sale dates when we checked on Oct 21, 2026. Its October Prime Big Deal Days event ran Oct 6-7. We will add Amazon’s dates to the key dates table as soon as Amazon confirms them.

Are early Black Friday deals real?

Some are, some are not. An early deal is real if the price is clearly below the product’s recent price history, not just below an inflated “list” price. Check Keepa or CamelCamelCamel and compare against what the item sold for in October. Our buy now vs wait guide covers which categories are worth buying early.

Will retailers match prices after Black Friday?

It depends on the store. Best Buy will match its own lower price during your return period, but excludes competitor prices during Thanksgiving week. Target matches its own prices within 14 days. Walmart.com does not adjust prices after purchase. Always check the official policy page before relying on it.
